Something different for Easter

Since this year it was just Norm, me, the kids and my mother we decided to take a Easter trip to the beach in Corpus Christi. It was nice to get away from all the craziness that's going on right now. We all had a really great time. We went to go look at the beach and the kids thought it would be really fun to just get all wet!! We also went to the Texas Aquarium and Andrew had a blast looking at all the fish!! I really like the picture of my mother she looks really happy!

Easter egg hunt at grandma's

The kids had a good time even though it was just them hunting the
eggs this year.(they got more than they usually do!) The Easter bunny brought them some of their favorite stuff like HSM and Spider-Man!!

Summer has arrived according to the kids!

The kids really want to get a pool and I haven't got it yet so they settled with playing in lawn sprinkler. They were having so much fun. Andrew likes to sit on the sprinkler! They really enjoy the outdoors and I always have a blast watching them have fun.

The Family

We are getting ready for summer to be here. The weather has been so warm that kids are always asking if it is time to go swimming yet. We stay pretty busy around here. Norm is still working at SecurityCameras Direct and does installations on the side sometimes. I still stay home with the kids but now I've started watching 2 little ones as well. So that keeps me pretty busy.
Grace will be going to school in August! I can't believe that it's that time already. I guess she is growing up. She is pretty excited about it and she and I have been doing workbooks to get her ready. She is pretty smart but can be lazy sometimes as well. She loves to play on the computer and the Wii. Norm is amazed at how she can be looking at you and still know which buttons to push on the key board! She is into the High School Musical, Hannah Montana, Jonas Bro. phase. She knows all the songs to all the HSM movies. She tried ballet lessons but that only lasted 2 weeks. It don't believe it was her "style" of dancing! So we will see what kind of activities school will bring her.
Andrew. Where do I begin with him! He is almost four and still won't use the potty all the time. Trust me he knows how he is just lazy or lets say to afraid that he will miss something if he goes to the potty! He really loves to play with ALL of his Spider-mans,Hulk and Turtles. We have had to go to Dr for one bleeding head with him and that's it...so far! He has had 2 goose egg knots on his forehead from trying to be Spider-man, a couple of busted lips and 2 broken teeth! So will see what's next! He is not into the whole learning thing just yet but has surprised us with knowing his colors and numbers. He is more the type who wants to play all day.
Norm and I just doing the same old stuff... being parents! We have been taking more time for ourselves than we use to. Now that the kids are getting older they are ok being left with a friend so we can have a "date". Trust me when we have more interesting things to talk I will write more.
