Grandpa's Visit

Grandpa from N.C. came to visit this past week. We haven't seen him since last year. The kids really had a great time cause at grandma's house he made a swing out of an old extension cord(he couldn't find a rope)! They sure did love swinging on it. Every morning Grace would have hot chocolate with grandpa while he would have his coffee. So cute! Nothing like spending time with family. He said that he was going to take Grace back with him but he couldn't handle Andrew. For one he said that boy likes to wear just underwear and two he is just wild!

Another beach trip

We decided to take another trip to the beach. This time we went to Galveston. Went the weekend after Mother's day. It was nice but hot. We all got a little bit of sun but we had a great time. Grace was "trying" to surf! Norm had made a huge turtle in the sand but Andrew thought he would mess it up and then pose next to it! You could still see some damage from the last hurricane.

The kids were "Hunting" in the backyard

The kids were playing outside with a toy shot gun and I could hear them saying that they were hunting for deer. They would tell each other where they heard or seen them at. Andrew wears those pink and white boots all the time! They have had those for about 3 yrs and they really don't fit him but he won't let me get rid of them!!

Something different for Easter

Since this year it was just Norm, me, the kids and my mother we decided to take a Easter trip to the beach in Corpus Christi. It was nice to get away from all the craziness that's going on right now. We all had a really great time. We went to go look at the beach and the kids thought it would be really fun to just get all wet!! We also went to the Texas Aquarium and Andrew had a blast looking at all the fish!! I really like the picture of my mother she looks really happy!

Easter egg hunt at grandma's

The kids had a good time even though it was just them hunting the
eggs this year.(they got more than they usually do!) The Easter bunny brought them some of their favorite stuff like HSM and Spider-Man!!

Summer has arrived according to the kids!

The kids really want to get a pool and I haven't got it yet so they settled with playing in lawn sprinkler. They were having so much fun. Andrew likes to sit on the sprinkler! They really enjoy the outdoors and I always have a blast watching them have fun.
